Thinking of people in Ukraine,

I pray for peace.



My family celebrated Girl’s Festival and had a Japanese tea ceremony with a special guest from Ireland this year 2022.

I displayed Matryoshka dolls

and a picture book of Ukrainian folktale　MITTNE　 together with Japanese dolls called Ohinasama for Girl’s Festival.



I hope this photo can be a peace message to bond people’s hearts together.

Japanese families with girls display Ohinasama and celebrate Hina-matsuri(Girl’s Festival on March 3rd) to pray for girl’s health and happiness.



3月も終わりに近づき、まだ続いているウクライナ侵攻。報道を見るたび悲しくなりますね。それと同時に、ウクライナの人々の強さ、ロシアの人々の葛藤も報道され、勇気ある行動に驚かされます。



２月末、アイルランドのALTの先生とお祝いしたひな祭りのお茶会。

花入れの隣のスペースに平和を祈ってマトリョーシカを飾りました。

ロシア人の友人を想い、ウクライナの人々の平和を願いながら。

『てぶくろ』Mittenは、幼児クラスの英語劇の定番。

ウクライナの静かな森に落としたおじいさんの手袋が家になり、民族衣装を着た動物たちが温かいその家に集います。手仕事のぬくもり、美しい装飾のマトリョーシカもこどもたちと冬を楽しむ思いでのアイテムです。一日も早く戦争が終わりますように。
